Docking Bay 49

Was going through a book on orientalism I bought in Casablanca, which led me to revisit some travel photos and, inspiration struck. This is kind of an in-between personal and professional workflow : less iterations but more rendering (on each) than pro-work.

I cooked-up this last version for a follower who asked if I could paint a Battletoad (early 90s videogame) at some point. I kinda crowbarred ‘im into an unrelated piece (sorry ☹).

Same as previous but with the character sportin’ Rash’s specks.
